IOS and Application Development

iOS is a mobile operating system. It is developed by Apple Inc. It was released in the year 2007 for the handheld devices such as iPhone and iPod Touch devices. Every year there are lot of applications developed and released in Apple’s App store. These applications are downloaded by people billion times.

Application Development process includes creating the concept for application and designing a user interface, defining the interaction and once the idea is decided, the application is implemented by writing codes.

Students who develop iOS Application Projects use the frameworks and other technologies in iOS to create the user interface. There are UIkit frameworks, core graphics, core animation and other frameworks like sprite kit, game kit, OpenGL ES and Game Controller. Among all iOS frameworks, Media framework enables us to work with audio and video in mobile applications.
